- When will the next SpaceUp Houston event take place? February 9, 2013
- Can I sponsor SpaceUp Houston? We would love to have you sponsor us and have various financial sponsorship levels that are appropriate for both individuals or companies.
- How can I volunteer for SpaceUp Houston? We are always looking for volunteers whether for our planning committee, to post flyers around town, or to volunteer the day of the event. Contact us and tell us how you’d like to volunteer.
- How much will it cost to attend the 2013 Unconference? $15
- Can children attend the 2012 Unconference? Yes, in fact we encourage people from 8 and up. Up to 2 children are free with an adult registration.
- How can I register for the 2012 Unconference? Click Register in the Navigation Bar and select Unconference.
- Where will the 2012 Unconference be held? At the Lunar & Planetary Institute (LPI) located in the USRA building in Houston, TX just a few miles from the NASA Johnson Space Center. Details are on our Location page along with maps.
- Will the 2012 Unconference be streamed live on the internet? Of course it will! Watch on our Livestream page.
- Why isn’t SpaceUpHou a 501(c)3? The mothership (SpaceUp) is working on acquiring 501(c) status and until that status is granted, the various SpaceUp’s being held are partnering with existing organizations to bring you the SpaceUp opportunity. SpaceUp Houston has partnered with the Yuri’s Night which has 501(c)(3) status.
- Why Houston? Why not? The heart of the space program from the perspective of mission training and operations resides in Houston. Let’s get a group of people together from inside and outside the space program and start thinking outside the box.
- Where can I buy a SpaceUp Houston T-shirt? T-shirts and other merchandise are available for sale in our Cafe Press store or at LandsEnd.

- How much did it cost to attend SpaceUp Houston? Early Bird pricing through January 19, 2011 was $25 per adult over the age of 18 and included a free t-shirt. Children aged 8-18 were free (see FAQ 7). Starting January 20th, registration remained $25 per adult however without the free t-shirt.
- Where is the agenda for the first SpaceUp Houston Unconference? The agenda can be located here.
- Did you record the sessions? The sessions were streamed live, recorded, and now reside on YouTube. A master listing of the two day event can guide you through the various sessions.
